The Public Inquiry

The inquiry has been commissioned to examine all aspects of the industry, including climate change implications, economics and impacts on wildlife and water. It will draw upon the significant expertise within Australia on forestry matters and place Australian policy in an international context.

Public engagement

Members of the public are strongly urged to take part in this very topical investigation on the various issues relating to the Review. Where appropriate, the Review will also be seeking submissions on specialist subject areas as the investigation proceeds.

We look forward to making a positive contribution to this important area of Australia’s economic and environmental future in dialogue with the Australian community and international experts in this area.
